Finn Jones recently told fans he was almost finished filming for Iron Fist when he crashed Mike Colter’s Facebook Live Chat, and it seems like the day has come. Jones posted a video to Instagram, just hours before he joins the Iron Fist panel at New York Comic Con, and revealed that he’s wrapped Season 1 of the Netflix series.
“Alright, so, we’ve just wrapped on Season One of Iron Fist. It’s 9 a.m. I have to be at Comic Con in like three hours…so I’ll see you guys there. I’m really looking forward to it. Just…need…to sleep. Alright, peace.”
It seems as if fans are excited for the event too, as it’s just been reported that the line for Marvel’s Iron Fist panel was capped over nine hours before it starts. We’re all hoping for the first official trailer of the show, and we don’t have long to wait to see if it comes true!
Iron Fist is the fourth Marvel show to premiere exclusively on Netflix, following Marvel’s Daredevil, Marvel’s Jessica Jones, and Marvel’s Luke Cage. These shows will culminate in Marvel’s The Defenders: a cross-over mini-series. Marvel’s The Punisher has just commenced with shooting, and is expected to drop next year.
Marvel’s Iron Fist drops on March 17, 2017, only on Netflix.
