Sylvester Stallone was able to under the radar nab a potentially big Marvel role in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. See his character in action here.
While the two don’t share a scene in Vol. 2, one character Stallone’s Stakar does interact with is Michael Rooker’s Yondu Udonta. They share heated words near the beginning of the film which speaks to a history between the two characters and what broke their bond, namely Yondu accepting to shepherd Ego’s offspring to him to find out if they could harness Celestial power like him. Kidnapping kids doesn’t fit in Stakar’s honor code. Check out the clip below.
