Marvel’s The Inhumans comes from a groundbreaking partnership between IMAX and Disney/ABC Television Group to bring the 8-episode first season to the small screen later this year but first, the series will debut its first two episodes exclusively in IMAX theaters Labor Day weekend. Extended versions of the first two episodes will then premiere on ABC two weeks later on September 26, 2017, with the following six episodes in tow. The first two episodes will be shot entirely with IMAX cameras with subsequent action sequences also to be shot in IMAX.

Marvel’s The Inhumans stars Anson Mount (Hell on Wheels) as Black Bolt, Serinda Swan (Smallville) as Medusa, Iwan Rhoen (Game of Thrones) as Maximus the Mad and Ken Leung (LOST) as Karnak, Eme Ikwuakor (Concussion) as Gorgon, Isabelle Cornish (Australia Day) as Crystal, Mike Moh (Empire) as Triton, Sonya Balmores (Beyond the Break) as Auran, and Ellen Woglom (Californication). Here’s the official synopsis:
“After the Royal Family of Inhumans is splintered by a military coup, they barely escape to Hawaii where their surprising interactions with the lush world and humanity may prove to not only save them, but Earth itself.”
Marvel’s The Inhumans premieres on Tuesday, September 26 on ABC – no official timeslot has been given yet by the network.
