In the official image, Stargirl is sporting her traditional red, white and blue outfit, making Brec Bassinger look like a Captain America sidekick. She has her staff in her right hand with what appears to be outer space in the background. The image, however, does not give any context as to what Brec Bassinger might be doing. However, considering this is a Geoff Johns produced series, the look is strikingly accurate to the comics.

Here is a plot synopsis for the upcoming DC Universe Geoff Johns series:
High school sophomore Courtney Whitmore who inspires an unlikely group of young heroes to stop the villains of the past. This new DC Universe series reimagines Stargirl and the very first superhero team, the Justice Society of America, in a fun, exciting and unpredictable series premiering in 2019, produced by Warner Bros. Television, Mad Ghost Productions and Berlanti Productions.
Stargirl stars Brec Bassinger as Courtney Whitemore, Joel McHale as Starman, Luke Wilson as Pat Dugan, Meg DeLacy as Cindy Burman, with Anjelika Washington, Yvette Monreal, Christopher James, and Jake Austin Walker in undisclosed roles. Geoff Johns will write and executive produce the 13-episode first season of Stargirl. Sarah Schechter and Arrowverse boss Greg Berlanti will also serve as executive producers on the series.
Stargirl is scheduled to debut on DC Universe in August 2019.
