First Look At Noomi Rapace In ‘Alien: Covenant’; New Poster Released

A new TV spot for the upcoming Alien: Covenant has revealed our first look at the return of Prometheus' Elizabeth Shaw played by Noomi Rapace.

20th Century Fox has released a new TV spot for the upcoming Alien: Covenant which has revealed our first look at the return of Prometheus‘ Elizabeth Shaw played by Noomi Rapace.

Director Ridley Scott previously confirmed Rapace’s return, however, he clarified that she will appear in a rather non-traditional way. The new “Take Me Home” TV spot reveals Shaw in a blink and you’ll miss it flash as a hologram towards the end of the spot. An alternate cut of the same spot released on Instagram offers a glimpse of Shaw’s dog tags when the crew of the Covenant inspects the Juggernaut.

In addition to the new spot, the studio has also released a brand new international poster for the upcoming film teasing the terror to come. You can check out both cuts of the spot and the new poster below.

The film stars Katherine Waterston, Michael Fassbender, Danny McBride, Noomi Rapace, Demian Bichir, Jussie Smollett, Carmen Ejogo, Billy Crudup and Amy Seimetz. Here’s the official synopsis:

Ridley Scott returns to the universe he created in ALIEN with ALIEN: COVENANT, the second chapter in a prequel trilogy that began with PROMETHEUS — and connects directly to Scott’s 1979 seminal work of science fiction. Bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, the crew of the colony ship Covenant discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world — whose sole inhabitant is the “synthetic” David (Michael Fassbender), survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition.

Alien: Covenant hits theaters May 19, 2017.
