HBO just dropped a promo for its upcoming lineup in 2019 which features the first look at the final season of Game of Thrones, the new season of True Detective, as well as the first look at the highly-anticipated new Watchmen series.
Damon Lindelof has reimagined Alan Moore’s Watchmen world and this new promo may have revealed the first look at Rorschach in the upcoming series. You can check out the promo below!
HBO’s Watchmen hails from Lindelof who serves as executive producer on the series alongside Nicole Kassell, Tom Spezialy, Stephen Williams, Joseph Iberti. Lindelof has written the series with Kassell directing the pilot.
Watchmen stars Regina King, Jeremy Irons, Don Johnson, Tim Blake Nelson, Louis Gossett Jr., Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Andrew Howard, Tom Mison, Frances Fisher, Jacob Ming-Trent, Sara Vickers, and Dylan Schombing.
Based on characters from Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons’ limited comic series, Watchmen is produced by White Rabbit in association with Warner Bros. Television. Here’s the official logline:
Set in an alternate history where “superheroes” are treated as outlaws, WATCHMEN embraces the nostalgia of the original groundbreaking graphic novel while attempting to break new ground of its own.
Watchmen debuts in 2019 on HBO.
