First Trailer For New Scooby-Doo Animated Film ‘Scoob’ Officially Released

Warner Bros. just released the first trailer for Zac Efron’s Scoob! – which follows the origins of Mystery Inc. and Scooby-Doo.

The first trailer for the animated Scoob! film starring Zac Efron, Amanda Seyfried, Gina Rodriguez and Will Forte has arrived. Many fans were surprised to learn that the cast members from the original Scooby-Doo live action films weren’t reprising their roles in either a live-action sequel or lending their voices to the new animated Scoob! film. The latest Scooby-Doo theatrical film was originally scheduled for release in September 2018 but was pushed two years instead.

Zac Efron’s Scoob! focuses on how Shaggy met Scooby-Doo and how the legendary mutt earned his name. The animated Scoob! film also looks at when the team formed Mystery Inc. and began their supernatural sleuthing careers. Also keep your eyes peeled for an excellent nod to Wonder Woman in the Scoob! trailer. The first footage keeps Scooby-Doo’s signature humor and light hearted style while introducing new audiences to the iconic team. Watch the trailer for the next animated Scooby-Doo film below.
