The previous season of The Flash ended with Barry entering the Speed Force as punishment for creating Flashpoint. Most fans expect Barry will find a way out and it appears actress Candice Patton has her own hopes for what will follow Barry’s return. In an interview with ComicBook.com, Patton discussed how she would like to see Barry and Iris’ relationship move forward once he exits the Speed Force.
Patton revealed that she hopes marriage is in the future for Barry and Iris:
“Hopefully a wedding. Hopefully there’s marriage bells for Barry and Iris if we can get him out of the Speed Force.”

Running up against an evil time remnant version of yourself is something no one should ever have to do, but that’s exactly what faced Barry Allen (aka The Flash) as he fought to save the life of fiancée Iris West from the God of Speed known as Savitar.
