On the heels of its special musical episode featuring Supergirl, it’s no real surprise that The Flash ended up down from last week. Overall, the show drew in a total of 2.39 million viewers and a 0.9 demo rating.
On the other hand, Legends of Tomorrow moved into its precursor to the season finale and thrust its characters into an alternate reality. Even though this premise sounded like it would captivate viewers, viewership was down from last week as well. The show earned 1.6 million viewers and a 0.5 demo rating.
With Legends of Tomorrow airing its season finale next Tuesday and The Flash off until Tuesday, April 25, we’ll see if Legends can bring in the viewers and if The Flash‘s break gives audiences a second wind.
The Flash returns Tuesday, April 25 as Barry travels into the future in “The Once and Future Flash,” and airs on Tuesdays at 8:00 pm on The CW
Legends of Tomorrow continues next week with its season two finale, “Aruba,” and airs on Tuesdays at 9:00 pm ET on The CW.
