‘The Flash’ Producer Talks Kid Flash In Season 3

The Flash & Kid Flash

The Flash will be kicking off Season 3 with a big change as Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) won’t be the only heroic speedster in town anymore. Back in July, it was revealed that Keiynan Lonsdale’s Wally West is going to be suiting up as the iconic Kid Flash.

In the latest edition of Spoiler Room at Entertainment Weekly, Natalie Abrams revealed new information about Wally’s role in the third season through executive producer and show-runner Andrew Kreisberg.

“He does. One of the themes is what does it mean to have power, what you do with that power, and is power ultimately corrupting?”

“Blinded by anger, Barry unwittingly plays into Zoom’s game and uncovers the evil speedster’s true goal: to destroy all Earths in the multiverse. In the race of his life, Barry ultimately gets the upper hand against Zoom and defeats his nemesis. But unable to celebrate victory, Barry makes a world-shaking decision and speeds back in time to the night his mother died to stop Reverse Flash from killing her, irrevocably changing his past and redetermining his future.”

The Flash Season 3 is set to kick-off on Tuesday, October 4 at 8/7c on The CW with the Season 3 premiere titled “Flashpoint”.
