‘The Flash’ Film Star Kiersey Clemons Avoiding The CW Version

Justice League will introduce the DC Extended Universe version of Iris West with Kiersey Clemons in the role. Of course, several fans have already become familiar with Candice Patton’s portrayal of the character on the The Flash’s CW television show. In an interview with CinemaBlend, Kiersey Clemons revealed that she will not be looking to the CW series when preparing for her role as Iris West.

Kiersey Clemons admitted that while she has seen a bit of the Flash series, she will be avoiding the series when crafting her performance:

“When I do projects where it’s [characters that have been adapted before]… no. I will let it affect me. Actually, I lied. I saw a little bit of it before I did [Justice League]. But now it’s like, ‘Oh no, no, no.’ Because I’ll pull from it! I’ll be like, ‘I want to do that. No, I don’t want to do that.’ No, no, no.”

Kiersey Clemons also revealed that she is not involved in the extensive Justice Leauge reshoots:

Not doing reshoots, so I don’t even know if the movie is being made anymore! But we’re about to find out! [laughs] But I got to do my stuff with Zack, and I hope he’s well, and we’re going to see what’s going to happen.
