Florence Kasumba May Have Been Cast In ‘Wonder Woman’

Remember that total bad-ass of a woman from Captain America: Civil War? You know Black Panther’s body guard, Nubia,  told Black Widow to move or she will be moved? Yeah that bad ass. A recent Report states that, according to IMDB, she could be in the Wonder Woman solo film.

Her name is Florence Kasumba and not only is she playing an Amazon, shes playing a senator from the comics. Senator Acantha made her debut in Wonder Woman #10 in 1987. Kasumba has the body type and the grace to play an Amazon/ Senator and this is a great casting because everyone loved her in Captain America: Civil War.

She played a very small part in Captain America: Civil War. But, that part was very significant. Her presence was noticed. People went on to talk about her as one of the highlights of the film. I surely enjoyed seeing a very strong woman in a Marvel film.

Although, this report originates from IMDB, there’s a chance it’s true. We’ll just have to see when the film hits theaters. In any case this appears to be a great casting choice and I look forward to hearing about the other, strong, beautiful women cast in Wonder Woman.

Wonder Woman recently finished filming and is in post production. If Kasumab is really in the film, she shot all of her scenes months ago.

What do you guys think? Is this just another IMDB scam? Are you happy that she’s in Wonder Woman? Sound off in the comment section!

Wonder Woman made her film debut in this summers Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and her solo film is being directed by Patty Jenkins. Wonder Woman will star Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Robin Wright, Connie Nielsen, David Thewlis, Ewen Bremner, Saïd Taghmaoui, Elena Anya and Lucy Davis. Wonder Woman will hit theaters June 2nd, 2017!
