As you can see in Batman v Superman, there are definite homages to Frank Miller’s “Dark Knight Returns,” but Wonder Woman more or less tells its own story with less direct references to comic stories from DC lore. Well, at least we know that. With the sequel coming out in 2020, we’ll see if Frank Miller has the same love for the next Patty Jenkins installment as he had for the original. But what do you think? Directed by Patty Jenkins, Wonder Woman stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Robin Wright, Danny Huston, David Thewlis, Connie Nielsen, and Elena Anaya. The film is available now on Digital HD, 4K, Blu-Ray, and DVD.
