Full Look At Hawkeye’s Ronin Costume In ‘Avengers: Endgame’

New promotional art reveals full look at Hawkeye in his Ronin costume from Avengers: Endgame.

Hawkeye is set to don his second moniker of Ronin in Avengers: Endgame. We got our first look at the costume in the first official trailer for Endgame and now we’re getting a more detailed look via some new promotional art. The art will more than likely be placed on Avengers: Endgame merchandise and posters. You can check it out in the tweet below.

Fans of the comics may recognize Hawkeye’s new look as being a reference to Clint Barton’s transformation into Ronin. In the comics, Barton was the second person to don the Ronin costume and did so after the events of the Civil War storyline. Eventually, Barton retook the mantle of Hawkeye and since then, multiple people have become Ronin themselves. Barton’s transformation into Ronin could hint at a somber storyline when we first see him in Endgame.

In the first trailer for Endgame, a voiceover teamed with the new, up-close and personal violence that Hawkeye is using on enemies could suggest that Laura Barton (Linda Cardellini), Hawkeye’s wife from Avengers: Age of Ultron,was lost due to the finale of Infinity War. Hawkeye also had two children so any of them could have been taken by Thanos’ Infinity Gauntlet snap, but all this is just speculation for now. Fans may have to wait until April to see just what happened to Hawkeye to cause him to make such a change for Avengers: Endgame.
