Birds of Prey is slowly becoming one of the most highly anticipated films in DC’s roster and with each image released the anticipation mounts. In a newly released image, you can check out Mary Elizabeth Winstead in full Huntress gear. You can check out the image below.
This year, DC and Warner Bros. will release two new additions to the DC Extended Universe franchise. The two origin stories are Shazam!, which opens in April, and Joker, which opens in October and presumably won’t tie in directly to the current DCEU continuity, given that the Joker in the DCEU is currently played by Jared Leto and not Joaquin Phoenix, who stars in the solo movie. Only a few months after Joker releases, Birds of Prey premieres on the big screen and will introduce fans to new and old DCEU characters, including Mary Elizabeth Winstead’s crossbow-toting, Gotham City vigilante Huntress.
We’ll be sure to keep you updated on all news regarding Birds of Prey as soon as more information becomes available. Which character in the film are you most excited to see in action? Which other DC teams do you hope to see get their time to shine on the big screen sooner rather than later? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
