‘Wonder Woman 1984’: Gal Gadot’s Diana Prince & Chris Pine’s Steve Trevor Team Up In New Image

A new image from Wonder Woman 1984 features Gal Gagot and Chris Pine.

Gal Gadot’s Diana Prince and Chris Pine’s Steve Trevor team up in a brand new image from Wonder Woman 1984.

Earlier this week, Gal Gadot revealed two vibrand new covers for the Wonder Woman 1984-themed issue of Total Film, featuring Diana Prince suited up in the Golden Eagle armor. Now, Total Film has dropped a never-before-seen image from the highly-anticipated movie.

Total Film’s Wonder Woman 1984 image reunites Gal Gadot’s Diana Prince and Chris Pine’s Steve Trevor after the latter died in the closing moments of Diana’s first cinematic solo outing. You can check out the image below.

During an interview with the magazine, Wonder Woman 1984 star Gal Gadot discussed Diana Prince’s DC Extended Universe journey and how she’s different in her second standalone movie:

“In the first movie, [Diana] really is a fish out of water, coming from Themyscira into man’s world, and learning about the complexities of human life, really. In Wonder Woman 1984, she’s been around. She’s wiser. She’s more mature. She’s guarded. She lost all of her friends throughout the years. But she’s still doing the right thing. But she is different than when we last saw her.”

Full details on the Wonder Woman 1984 plot are being kept under wraps, but the film is said to follow Gal Gadot’s Diana Prince as she comes into conflict with a formidable new adversary named Cheetah and businessman Maxwell Lord. Wonder Woman was last seen in Zack Snyder’s DC superhero team-up movie Justice League.

Directed by Patty Jenkins from a script she co-wrote with David Callaham and a treatment she developed with Geoff Johns, the film stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig, Pedro Pascal, Natasha Rothwell, Ravi Patel, Gabriella Wilde, Connie Nielson, and Robin Wright.

Wonder Woman 1984 is currently scheduled to be released in theaters on October 2nd, 2020. Stay tuned for all the latest news surrounding DC and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more exclusive video content.
