The 'Wonder Woman' sequel's got a pretty substantial runtime.
With the release date for Wonder Woman 1984 inching ever closer, the runtime for the Gal Gadot film has been revealed after booking information from Korea surfaced online. Excitement for the sequel hit a fever pitch following the DC FanDome panel which showed off a brand new trailer which also gave fans their first look at Kristen Wiig in her full Cheetah form. When Heroic Hollywood visited the set of the upcoming sequel, director Patty Jenkins explained Barbara Minerva’s transformation has a horror influence instead of being “silly.”
The runtime for the Wonder Woman sequel arrived on Twitter when one user showed off the booking information available in Korea, noting that the film is 151 minutes long. It’s only just longer than the previous film by ten minutes, since Gal Gadot’s first solo outing as the Amazonian hero came in at 141 minutes. It’s also reassuring to know Warner Bros. hasn’t restricted the sequel to a shorter runtime. Hopefully this will keep fans going until October when the sequel finally arrives in theaters.
