Gal Gadot Takes Center Stage In New ‘Wonder Woman 1984’ Set Photos

The latest set pictures from DC and Warner Bros. upcoming Wonder Woman 1984 showcase star Gal Gadot as she prepares to shoot a scene.

Nowadays, it seems that whenever a movie changes its release date there is always some sort of conspiracy as to what’s going on behind-the-scenes. Many expected that to be the case when the release date for Wonder Woman 1984 was changed from November 2019 to June 2020. If Gadot’s response to the release date change is any indication, this is actually a very good thing for the movie but sadly, whether it’s for the best or for the worst, waiting an extra 7 months for such a highly anticipated film is certainly no easy task.

Don’t worry though, if you’re clamoring to see that first footage from Wonder Woman 1984 you may have to wait quite some time but there are a batch of new set pictures to gander at in the meantime. The latest set pictures from the upcoming DC solo adventure don’t feature any spoilerific goodies but they do offer a new look at star Gal Gadot as she prepares to film a scene in the highly anticipated sequel. Much like 2019’s Joker, it seems that fans have seen quite a bit of this film via set pictures and video but there is still a lot of mystery surrounding the story of Wonder Woman 1984. Kristen Wiig is set to star as iconic DC villain Cheetah, Chris Pine is set to return as Steve Rogers, and Pedro Pascal’s true character still remains quite secretive. If you’re disappointed about the film moving its release date, don’t worry because over the course of the next year DC will be releasing a very eclectic group of comic book films.

The underwater action-adventure Aquaman arrives in theaters this December, with the action-comedy Shazam! releasing in April, and the much darker Joker releasing the following October. We’ll be sure to keep you updated on all news regarding Wonder Woman 1984 as soon as more information becomes available. How do you think all of these story elements and characters will come together in the final film? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!

Wonder Woman 1984 is scheduled to hit theaters on June 5th, 2020.
