Gal Gadot ‘Would Love’ To Do ‘Wonder Woman 3’ But There’s No Official Plans

The star still wants to return for a third solo film.

Gal Gadot revealed that she’d love to return as Diana Prince for Wonder Woman 3, but confessed there’s no official plans for the sequel so far.

Although fans in the U.S. are still yet to see Wonder Woman 1984, Gal gadot revealed to Variety that she’d love to reprise the role in Wonder Woman 3. The star also recently confirmed that although she’s in the new footage being added to Zack Snyder’s Justice League, she didn’t take part in the reshoots for the new cut which arrives on HBO Max in March 2021. But she suggested that appearing in Wonder Woman 3 would be “nice closure.”

When speaking to Variety about the potential third film, Gal Gadot explained that she’s not sure if it will be greenlit by Warner Bros. – which is understandable given the turbulent nature of the last 12 months. But the star stressed that she’d love to return for Wonder Woman 3 as long as the story was worth exploring further alongside director Patty Jenkins. But it may be some time before the studio allows a third film to go into production. If it does go ahead, Jenkins revealed that the film will explore themes that will feel extremely relevant to the current state of the world.

“We have no idea. You never know. I would love to do another one if the story is great and with Patty [Jenkins] of course. But I don’t know. We’ll have to wait and see.”
