The reveal came at the end of a short video, highlighting some of the show’s biggest moments from its past seven seasons. There’s no new footage from the eighth and final season, but with its premiere only five months away, Game of Thrones fans probably won’t have to wait too long before getting a sneak peek of some sorts.
David Benioff and D.B. Weiss return to executive produce the final season alongside Carolyn Strauss, Frank Doelger and Bernadette Caulfield, with Bryan Cogman, Guymon Casady, Vince Gerardis and George R.R. Martin serving as co-executive producers. Benioff, Weiss, Cogman and Dave Hill wrote the final six episodes, which have been directed by David Nutter and Miguel Sapochnik, with the series finale helmed by Benioff and Weiss.
