George R. R. Martin Reveals Potential Title For ‘Game of Thrones’ Prequel Series

George R. R. Martin revealed a potential title for the upcoming Game of Thrones prequel series during an interview with Entertainment Weekly.

With HBO’s Game of Thrones now behind us, fans are are currently looking towards the upcoming prequel series set roughly 5,000 years before the events of George R. R. Martin’s original story. Details on the Game of Thrones prequel are still under wraps, though George R. R. Marion has previously suggested the series be named The Long Night.

However, while the suggested title reportedly remains George R. R. Martin’s preferred title for the Game of Thrones prequel, the creator revealed he’s heard of a potential alternative that he would not mind:

“I heard a suggestion that it could be called The Longest Night, which is a variant I wouldn’t mind. That would be pretty good.”
