‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 8 Episodes To Be Longer Than An Hour Each

With the eighth and final season of HBO’s cultural phenomenon Game of Thrones set to premiere in April 2019, fans should prepare themselves for what is shaping up to be perhaps the most epic final season in television history – not just in the pure scale of each episode, but even the runtime.

David Nutter, a director on Game of Thrones recently revealed in a Reddit AMA that the final season’s episodes will each run longer than 60 minutes:

“Season 8 episodes will all I think be longer than 60 minutes. They’ll be dancing around the bigger numbers, I know that for sure.”

It’s only a matter of time before we finally see how one of the greatest television series of all-time comes to an end. It’s hard to believe that after nearly a decade on the air, we will finally see who wins the Game of Thrones.
