Speaking to MTV news in the red carpet of the 74th annual Golden Globes Awards, Zoe Saldana who plays Gamora in The Guardians of the Galaxy franchise has corroborated that she will indeed be appearing in Avengers: Infinity War, although she still hasn’t read the script.
‘I don’t know when they’re going to let me read it’ she continued. ‘I’m not looking forward to the 5 hours of green make up, but every time I finally arrive on set I feel so happy and lucky to be there’
With this in mind it’s easy to assume that the rest of the Guardians will be part of the movie, and even though it seems like a safe bet we’ll still wait for an official statement from the studio.
Saldana also commented on her feelings about the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and how director James Gunn shared some clips of it with her.
You can watch the interview below.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, directed by James Gunn, stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, and Vin Diesel as Groot, and hits theaters May 5, 2017.
