Director Gareth Edwards is happy with the positive reactions for 'Rogue One: A Star Wars Story' after 28-minutes of the film screened for a select audience.
The first reactions were positive and director Gareth Edwards is very pleased about the reception.
“It feels good, and it’s a relief because I feel like the best is yet to come.”
The cast is very diverse and the fact that they’re all new characters is really exciting because it’ll feel so fresh. While only a little bit of the film was shown, Edwards really wants everyone to go on this journey with the characters. Showing just bits of the film obviously doesn’t do it justice.
“The little clip we showed is not really – the film is built as a whole, so it’s really hard to show bits and pieces. It’s a journey that you and the characters go on. So I really can’t wait for you to see the rest of the movie, because it builds and builds.”
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is out in theaters December 16. Tickets are now on sale for pre-order.
