‘I didn’t know he was in the movie until I saw the movie! True! It’s funny, because I look back on it and think, ‘ya f***in’ moron, of course that’s what was happening!’ But even shooting that [scene], it didn’t occur to me. It wasn’t so prescriptive in the script. That was a little gem they were keeping, and rightly so, I understand why they’d want to protect that.’
But you can’t really blame Courtney for not knowing, as the whole thing was filmed long after principal photography wrapped. The short sequence was directed by Zack Snyder while shooting Justice League in London and sent to Suicide Squad director David Ayer while he was working on post-production of his movie.
The scene was filmed entirely with green screen, and now thanks Instagram account art_of_chele, we have a better look at the setup and the amazing looking Flash armor.
While I’m not a fan of the shoulders, the rest of the suit looks great, and Ezra Miller has proved to be the right choice for The Flash in the footage we’ve seen so far. Hopefully Justice League will be as good as its potential shows.
Directed by Zack Snyder and starring Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller, Ray Fisher, Willem Dafoe, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J.K. Simmons and Ciáran Hinds, Justice League opens in theaters on November 17, 2017. Stay tuned for more news on the future of the DC Extended Universe!
