Ghostbusters was a surprisingly controversial film when it was released in 2016. The reboot of the comedy classic of the same name was met with criticism the moment it was revealed that it would drop the continuity of the previous two entries in the franchise in favor of an all-female cast.
One of the stars of the 2016 Ghostbusters reboot, Leslie Jones, recently shared her thoughts on the latest addition to the franchise, which will hit theaters next year with the help of director Jason Reitman. Leslie Jones took to her Twitter to share her very honest thoughts on the new follow-up to the 1984 original. Check out her response in the post below.
As you can see, Leslie Jones isn’t too keen on Jason Reitman’s new vision for the franchise. Given the vitriol that Leslie Jones received during her time promoting Ghostbusters, it’s not surprising that the SNL star has some harsh feelings towards this new take on the beloved franchise.
