The final season of Gotham will soon conclude and Cameron Monaghan’s Joker is set to appear in the series finale of the Batman prequel series. Of course, the design for Cameron Monaghan’s Joker is notably different from most on-screen depictions of the character and fans have been recreating some of the most iconic comic book moments with the Batman villain through fan art. Now, digital artist William Gray has used Cameron Monaghan’s Joker to recreate the cover for Batman: The Man Who Laughs, a story by Ed Brubaker and Doug Mahnke that followed the Caped Crusader’s first encounter with the Clown Price of Crime in post-Zero Hour continuity.
You can check out the Batman: The Man Who Laughs fan art with Cameron Monaghan’s Joker in the post below!
In the comics, Earth-2 Joker is already an old version of himself. After he fought Batman for years, he allegedly killed the Caped Crusader. But even with his age and disabilities, he’s still fighting against Batman supporters like Robin or Huntress, which is Batman’s daughter Helena Wayne in this universe. Although it’s more likely we’ll see an early version of the Joker for Cameron Monaghan in Gotham, who’s just starting his feud with Batman, but their looks are very similar.
