‘Gotham’ Image Reveals New Look At Batman Villains Ventriloquist & Scarface

A new image from Gotham‘s final season offers another look at the first live action Ventriloquist and Scarface versions of the Batman rogues.

Spoilers for Gotham ahead!

With Gotham ending after its fifth season, part of the show’s legacy will be bringing notable Batman rogues into live-action for the first time. Fan favorite villains like Hugo Strange and the Court of Owls have made their live-action debuts in the series.  The Ventriloquist is the latest Batman villain to come to life in the show’s final season. The Ventriloquist was originally cut from the final season, but will now appear thanks to extra episodes given by Fox.

The show’s version of the Ventriloquist is set to be portrayed by Andrew Sellon. The actor played Penguin’s assistant named Mr. Penn, who also recently died in Season 5 episode 3. However, it seems Penn will return as the Ventriloquist with Scarface in episodes 8 and 9 and a new look has been revealed. You can check out the image below:

The final season continues this week with the episode titled “Ace Chemicals” and you can read the official synopsis below.

Gordon races to uncover the criminal element threatening to end talks of Gotham’s reunification with the mainland. A very much alive Jeremiah (guest star Cameron Monaghan) returns and organizes a twisted recreation of the murder of Bruce’s parents with the help of Jervis Tetch aka Mad Hatter (guest star Benedict Samuel).

The series stars Ben McKenzie as Detective James Gordon, Donal Logue as Detective Harvey Bullock, Morena Baccarin as Dr. Leslie Thompkins, Sean Pertwee as Alfred Pennyworth, Robin Lord Taylor as Oswald Cobblepot/The Penguin, Erin Richards as Barbara Kean, David Mazouz as Bruce Wayne, Camren Bicondova as Selina Kyle, Cory Michael Smith as Edward Nygma/The Riddler, and Chris Chalk as Lucius Fox.

Gotham airs on Thursdays at 8:00 p.m. on FOX.
