‘Gotham’ Star Ben McKenzie On How Long David Mazouz’s Batman Will Appear In The Finale

During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Ben McKenzie briefly commented how long David Mazouz will appear as Batman in the series finale of Gotham.

The final season of Gotham is nearing its conclusion and while fans already know David Mazouz will appear as Batman in the series finale (which will jump years into the future), many are curious to see if David Mazouz’s Batman will have a prominent role in the final hour or if it will merely be a brief appearance similar to Superman’s debut in the last episode of Smallville. While Ben McKenzie did not reveal the exact amount of time David Mazouz’s Batman will have in the series finale, he did indicate there will plenty of Caped Crusader action:

“It’s gonna be for minutes. I mean, a long, long time. [laughs] I can’t reveal that.”

As for whether or not Jim Gordon will have his classic mustache, Ben McKenzie explained that despite the short amount of time he was given to grow facial, Batman’s closest ally will have his iconic look:

“I had two days to grow it […] and they stuck a thing on me. And it looks great.”
