Yesterday, Fox unveiled the first official look at Cameron Monaghan as the Joker and this new incarnation of the Clown Prince of Crime was certainly visually unique compared to previous onscreen versions. Now, a new behind-the-scenes photo offers fans another look at Cameron Monaghan as he prepares to portray the Joker in the series finale of Gotham.

The design for Cameron Monaghan’s Joker made its way online several weeks ago, revealing his final Joker look for the series finale and giving us a clear look at the make-up thanks to some continuity photos. The design itself seems to be inspired by his Earth-2 form which first appeared in Justice League Of America Annual Vol. 3 # 1 back in 2008.
Gotham was originally set to air ten episodes for its final season. Now, it will wrap up the series with twelve episodes that will feature plenty more of Cameron Monaghan’s Jeremiah, who grows closer and closer to becoming the Joker fans all know and love with every appearance.

The Batman prequel series stars Ben McKenzie as Detective James Gordon, Donal Logue as Detective Harvey Bullock, Morena Baccarin as Dr. Leslie Thompkins, Sean Pertwee as Alfred Pennyworth, Robin Lord Taylor as Oswald Cobblepot/The Penguin, Erin Richards as Barbara Kean, David Mazouz as Bruce Wayne, Camren Bicondova as Selina Kyle, Cory Michael Smith as Edward Nygma/The Riddler, and Chris Chalk as Lucius Fox.
