‘Gotham’ Adds Peyton List In Guest Role As Ivy Pepper / Poison Ivy

Gotham has added actress Peyton List in the recurring guest role as Ivy Pepper / Poison Ivy with her first appearance set for early 2018.

Gotham has added actresses Peyton List in the recurring guest role as Ivy Pepper / Poison Ivy.

Gotham initially introduced Ivy Pepper as young child portrayed by Clare Foley before Maggie Geha assumed the role following the character’s accelerated growth. Series producers made the following statement teasing what viewers can expect when the latest incarnation of the classic DC Comics villain makes her debut in early 2018.

“In the continuing evolution of Poison Ivy’s origin story, Ivy Pepper has been transformed once again taking another step toward becoming the Ivy we know from the comics. Dangerous. A live wire of crazy energy. She’ll set her sights on Gotham, intent on making the city her own green paradise.”

Fans may recognize Peyton List from her guest roles on DC Comics-based shows including Lisa Snart aka the Golden Glider on The Flash and Lucy Lane on Smallville. List’s previous credits also include starring roles on Frequency and The Tomorrow People.

Gotham’s origin story continues to unfold, and as the show enters its fourth season, the stakes will be higher than ever! With the Court of Owls decimated, the aftermath of the Tetch virus crippling the city, and every (surviving) villain in Gotham’s underworld jockeying for power, Jim Gordon and the GCPD will have their hands full. And that’s just the beginning! What threat does Ra’s al Ghul pose, and will Penguin regain his title as the King of Gotham? What new villains are in store for season four, and what does Bruce Wayne’s season finale reveal mean for Gotham City — and his ultimate destiny?

Gotham airs on Thursday at 8:00 p.m. ET on FOX.
