‘Gotham’ Season 4 Premiere Will Now Air A Week Earlier

DC television fans who are anxious for to see what is in store for Gotham have a means for celebration. According to Deadline, FOX will air the season 4 premiere of the series based on the world of DC comics a week earlier than originally announced.

The fourth season of Gotham will now premiere on Thursday, September 21 at 8 p.m. It will be followed by Seth MacFarlane’s new series, The Orville. 

Gotham stars Ben McKenzie as Detective Jim Gordon, Donal Logue as Detective Harvey Bullock, David Mazouz as Bruce Wayne, Sean Pertwee as Alfred Pennyworth, Morena Baccarin as Dr. Leslie Thompkins, Robin Lord Taylor as Oswald Cobblepot/The Penguin, Cory Michael Smith as Edward Nygma/The Riddler, Carmen Bicondova as Selina Kyle, Erin Richards as Barbara Kean, Jessica Lucas as Tabitha Galavan, Chris Chalk as Lucius Fox, Drew Powell as Butch Gilzean, Maggie Geha as Ivy Pepper, Benedict Samuel as Jervis Tetch/The Mad Hatter and Michael Chiklis as Captain Nathaniel Barnes. Here is the official synopsis for Season 4:

“Gotham’s origin story continues to unfold, and as the show enters its fourth season, the stakes will be higher than ever! With the Court of Owls decimated, the aftermath of the Tetch virus crippling the city, and every (surviving) villain in Gotham’s underworld jockeying for power, Jim Gordon and the GCPD will have their hands full. And that’s just the beginning! What threat does Ra’s al Ghul pose, and will Penguin regain his title as the King of Gotham? What new villains are in store for season four, and what does Bruce Wayne’s season finale reveal mean for Gotham City — and his ultimate destiny?”
