Grand Theft Auto 6 has been highly anticipated ever since Rockstar blew fans away last year with Red Dead Redemption II. The western sequel was Rockstar’s first video game since 2013’s Grand Theft Auto V and now it seems as though Rockstar is ready to return to its beloved open-world franchise with the upcoming sequel Grand Theft Auto 6.
Former Rockstar employee Bibin Michael recently put a credit on his resume that caught the eyes of fans awaiting Grand Theft Auto 6. The credit revealed that Grand Theft Auto 6 is on the way, though without an official release date attached to it. Fans can check out the resume now but the credit has since been removed. Thanks to the folks at Game Rant who grabbed a snapshot of the former Rockstar employee’s credit, fans can see it for themselves below.
Fans have theorized about where Grand Theft Auto 6 could take the franchise next but no official announcement has been made by Rockstar just yet. Grand Theft Auto V smashed multiple records when it was released in 2013 and Rockstar continued that trend when Red Dead Redemption II hit shelves last Fall.
Some fans have been clamoring for a sequel to the open-world Rockstar game Bully but no major announcements have been made recently regarding that project. If Rockstar is planning on releasing Grand Theft Auto 6 sooner than later, that could mean bad news for fans looking forward to Bully 2.
We’ll be sure to keep you updated on all news regarding Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto 6 as soon as more information becomes available.
