Over the course of five seasons, Grant Gustin’s Barry Allen has become a popular fan-favorite in the comic book community. But it turns out Grant Gustin’s The Flash could have had a different look in one of those seasons.

Grant Gustin became a huge star thanks to The Flash television series on The CW. After Stephen Amell’s success on Arrow, Grant Gustin’s The Flash became even more popular and went on to become the biggest DC Comics series at The CW. Arrow and The Flash effectively gave way to other superhero shows on The CW like DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow and Supergirl. With The CW announcing that the next season of Arrow will be its last, Grant Gustin will seemingly lead the Arrowverse after the Stephen Amell series ends.

The series stars Grant Gustin as Barry Allen / The Flash, Candice Patton as Iris West, Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow / Killer Frost, Carlos Valdes as Cisco Ramon / Vibe, Tom Cavanagh as Harrison “Sherloque” Wells, Jesse L. Martin as Joe West, Danielle Nicolet as Cecile Horton, Hartley Sawyer as Ralph Dibny / Elongated Man, Jessica Parker Kennedy as Nora West-Allen, and Chris Klein as Cicada.

The Flash is expected to return for its sixth season this October. Season 6 will also lead us into the next Arrowverse crossover event, Crisis On Infinite Earths.
