Unbeknownst to Grant Gustin’s Barry Allen, the previous season of The Flash concluded with the date of the Scarlet Speedster’s disappearance being moved up to 2019. Since then, fans have been eagerly awaiting new details on the sixth season of the Grant Gustin series, particularly regarding how it will lead into the potentially game-changing Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover event.
Now, production on the sixth season of The Flash is set to being soon, presumably in early July, and Grant Gustin has shaved off his beard to reprise his role as the clean-shaven Barry Allen. In a post on his official Instagram account, Grant Gustin shared before-and-after images revealing his freshly shaven face with the following caption: “Such a sad day.”
