‘The Flash’: Candice Patton Reveals Iris West’s New Hairstyle For Season 6

The Flash star Candice Patton has revealed her new curly hairstyle for her role as Iris West in the Grant Gustin series.

In the previous seasons of Grant Gustin’s The Flash on The CW, Candice Patton’s Iris West didn’t do much with her hair. However, Candice Patton took to Twitter to reveal that she’ll be having a bit of a makeover for the show’s upcoming sixth season, which allows her to wear her hair in a curled pattern.

You can see Candice Patton’s new The Flash hairstyle below:

Whether or not this new hairstyle has any plot relevance to The Flash remains to be seen. In any case, it certainly compliments Candice Patton’s Iris West look, and a switch-up after five seasons is probably overdue. What do you guys think? Full details on the sixth season of Grant Gustin’s The Flash are being kept under lock and key, but Heroes alum Sendhil Ramamurthy has joined the cast as DC Comics villain Bloodwork. In the comics, Bloodwork is a Central City morgue employee and hemophiliac who developed the ability to transform his flesh into blood-like physiology after experimenting with blood properties. The new season has also been teased to include an antagonist who will be the most personal villain Grant Gustin’s The Flash has faced since Eobard Thawne.

The Flash season six will also lead into The CW’s adaptation of Crisis on Infinite Earths and the back-half of the season will deal with the fallout from the upcoming five-part crossover event. With Arrow coming to an end this fall after concluding its eight-episode final season, The Flash will also become The CW’s main DC Comics drama and Grant Gustin’s Barry Allen will seemingly lead the other Arrowverse superheroes forward.

The series stars Grant Gustin as Barry Allen / The Flash, Candice Patton as Iris West, Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow / Killer Frost, Carlos Valdes as Cisco Ramon / Vibe, Tom Cavanagh as Harrison Wells, Jesse L. Martin as Joe West, Danielle Nicolet as Cecile Horton, and Hartley Sawyer as Ralph Dibny / Elongated Man.

The Flash season six premieres on October 8, 2019. Stay tuned for the latest news on the Grant Gustin series!
