The Flash star Grant Gustin took to one of his social media pages to defend Ezra Miller's casting as the Scarlet Speedster.
Many fans have previously expressed a desire to see Grant Gustin, the actor who plays Barry Allen on CW’s The Flash, reprise his role in the DCEU. Gustin liked some tweets in which fans expressed their support of him, and somehow things got blown out of proportion. Rumors were spread that Gustin had been bashing Ezra Miller, the actor cast as the Flash in Justice League Part One as well as the Flash’s standalone film.
Gustin, like most people, does not appreciate being misrepresented. He took to Twitter to clarify the situation, and made it clear that he would prefer his fans to play nice.
“Hey, Twitter. Stop putting words in my mouth. Hate that I felt the need to do this, but read this if you please.”
Ezra Miller has a small role in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, releasing March 25. Justice League Part One will see him shine a little brighter when it hits theatres on November 17, 2017. The Flash is currently scheduled for release on March 23, 2018. As for Gustin, you can see him on CW’s The Flash on Tuesdays at 8 EST.
