Tyrese Gibson Upset At Zac Efron As Green Lantern Fan Art

Fast & Furious star Tyrese Gibson seems to be displeased with BossLogic’s fan art of Zac Efron as Green Lantern.

Earlier today, BossLogic unveiled new fan art imagining Zac Efron as Hal Jordan / Green Lantern in a DC film. Tyrese Gibson, who has expressed an interest in playing John Stewart / Green Lantern and previously confirmed he had meetings with Warner Bros. about playing the role, posted a response to the photo that said, “Come on man lol.” BossLogic responded by clarifying that the image depicts Zac Efron as Hal Jordan and you can check out the exchange below!

Warner Bros. is currently developing a Green Lantern Corps film with Geoff Johns co-producing and writing the screenplay. Details on the plot for the film are currently unknown, though it is said to feature both Hal Jordan and John Stewart while Johns previously stated the story will draw inspiration from the New 52 comic book story-arc.

Green Lantern Corps is one of many projects currently being developed by Warner Bros. and DC Films. These projects also include Matt Reeves’ Batman film, The Flash standalone film, Birds of PreyBlack AdamSuicide Squad 2NightwingSupergirlPlastic Man, New Gods, a Deathstroke film, and a Joker origin movie set outside of the DCEU.
