New ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2’ Behind-The-Scenes Featurette Released

Marvel Studios has released a new Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 behind-the-scenes featurette. The video details the film’s look at how the team has a unique family dynamic. There are cast interviews and director James Gunn discusses how the first film was about bringing the team together as a family and the sequel is about them solidifying that unity.

The sequel will also explore the relationship between Chris Pratt’s Peter Quill/Star-Lord and his long lost father, who will be played by Kurt Russell.

Set to the backdrop of ‘Awesome Mixtape #2,’ Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 continues the team’s adventures as they traverse the outer reaches of the cosmos. The Guardians must fight to keep their newfound family together as they unravel the mysteries of Peter Quill’s true parentage. Old foes become new allies and fan-favorite characters from the classic comics will come to our heroes’ aid as the Marvel cinematic universe continues to expand.

Directed by James Gunn, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2 stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Micheal Rooker, Kurt Russell, and the voices of Vin Diesel and Bradley Cooper.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is in theaters May 5, 2017.
