‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2’: New Photo Of Michael Rooker’s Yondu

We recently got our first official look at Michael Rooker as Yondu in James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, but we now have another cool image of the actor in full costume courtesy of the Marvel Instagram page. While we can’t really see his striking blue skin in the image, we do get a closer look at his massive fin, which he debuted a few weeks ago at the Marvel Studios panel at San Diego Comic-Con.

You can check out the image below.

Set to the backdrop of ‘Awesome Mixtape #2,’ Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 continues the team’s adventures as they traverse the outer reaches of the cosmos. The Guardians must fight to keep their newfound family together as they unravel the mysteries of Peter Quill’s true parentage. Old foes become new allies and fan-favorite characters from the classic comics will come to our heroes’ aid as the Marvel cinematic universe continues to expand.

Starring Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Michael Rooker, Pom Klementieff, Karen Gillan, Sean Gunn, Glenn Close, Elizabeth Debicki and Kurt Russell, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 opens in theaters on May 5th, 2017.
