New ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2’ TV Spot Features Team Roll Call

A new TV spot for 'Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2.' features a team roll call as Star-Lord lists the name of his teammates.


We are officially one month away from the release of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy and anticipation for the long-awaited sequel is only growing stronger. Now, Marvel has released a brand new TV spot that re-introduces audiences to the original team that made the first film a box office and critical success.

The TV spot opens with Ayesha addressing our heroes before Star-Lord calls out the names of his teammates, who appear alongside stylish character titles.

Set to the backdrop of ‘Awesome Mixtape #2,’ Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 continues the team’s adventures as they traverse the outer reaches of the cosmos. The Guardians must fight to keep their newfound family together as they unravel the mysteries of Peter Quill’s true parentage. Old foes become new allies and fan-favorite characters from the classic comics will come to our heroes’ aid as the Marvel cinematic universe continues to expand.

Directed by James Gunn, the film stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Glenn Close, Pom Klementieff, Elizabeth Debicki and Kurt Russell.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 will be released in theaters on May 5, 2017.
