‘Guardians of the Galaxy’: Baby Groot Is Now A Spokesperson For Geico

In a new advertisement, Baby Groot has teamed up with the Geico Gecko to save you 15% on insurance as well as saving the galaxy.

In what is probably one of the best marketing tie-ins we’ve seen in a while, Baby Groot and the Geico Gecko have teamed up to save you 15% or more on insurance and the galaxy, but mostly insurance. In a new advertisement, the Geico Gecko is watching one of the most anticipated films of the summer, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and comes up with the idea to sell insurance with Baby Groot. Unfortunately for the Geico Gecko, Rocket Racoon isn’t there to translate what Groot is saying. You can check out the adorable ad below.

Set to the backdrop of ‘Awesome Mixtape #2,’ Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 continues the team’s adventures as they traverse the outer reaches of the cosmos. The Guardians must fight to keep their newfound family together as they unravel the mysteries of Peter Quill’s true parentage. Old foes become new allies and fan-favorite characters from the classic comics will come to our heroes’ aid as the Marvel cinematic universe continues to expand.

Directed by James Gunn, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2 stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Micheal Rooker, Kurt Russell, and the voices of Vin Diesel and Bradley Cooper.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 hits cinemas on May 5.
