The filmmaker was asked if he could save the critically panned series during a Q&A session on Facebook, to which Gunn jokingly replied:
“It does not look like there is much saving left for the Inhumans.”
Of course, Gunn could be referring to the fact that his current work on the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 and other Marvel Cosmic Universe projects is keeping him much too busy to step in and save Inhumans.

Marvel’s Inhumans stars Anson Mount, Serinda Swan, Iwan Rhoen, Ken Leung, Eme Ikwuakor, Isabelle Cornish, Mike Moh, Sonya Balmores and Ellen Woglomas.
Marvel’s Inhumans will premiere on ABC at 8:00 pm ET on September 29.
