‘Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2’ Officially Rated PG-13

In short order, 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2' will be rocking its way into theaters with a newly announced PG-13 rating.

In just a smidge over a month, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 will be rocking its way into theaters and bringing back our favorite Guardians (plus adding a few new ones). And, as to be expected, it seems that Guardians 2 has officially received a PG-13 rating, just like the first movie.

Posting on Twitter, user Stitch Kingdom says “Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2 Rated PG-13 for sequences of sci-fi action and violence, language, and brief suggestive content.” Stitch Kingdom is usually on top of things and so this declaration is most likely accurate, and it’s not difficult to imagine that it is given the Guardians and their typical shenanigans. You can check out the original tweet for yourself below.

Set to the backdrop of ‘Awesome Mixtape #2,’ Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 continues the team’s adventures as they traverse the outer reaches of the cosmos. The Guardians must fight to keep their newfound family together as they unravel the mysteries of Peter Quill’s true parentage. Old foes become new allies and fan-favorite characters from the classic comics will come to our heroes’ aid as the Marvel cinematic universe continues to expand.

Directed by James Gunn, the film stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Elizabeth Debicki, Glenn Close and Kurt Russell.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 hits theaters May 5, 2017.
