New ‘Guardians Vol. 2’ Poster & Double Feature Announcement

'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2' gets a new poster and director James Gunn announces that there will be a double feature screening.

On James Gunn’s Facebook page, the director announced that there will be a Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 double feature, with both movies screening in RealD 3D on May 4. The first film will screen before the premiere of its sequel.

Along with the double feature announcement, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 has received a new poster, highlighting the RealD 3D aspect of the screenings.

Set to the backdrop of ‘Awesome Mixtape #2,’ Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 continues the team’s adventures as they traverse the outer reaches of the cosmos. The Guardians must fight to keep their newfound family together as they unravel the mysteries of Peter Quill’s true parentage. Old foes become new allies and fan-favorite characters from the classic comics will come to our heroes’ aid as the Marvel cinematic universe continues to expand.

Directed by James Gunn, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2 stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Micheal Rooker, Kurt Russell, and the voices of Vin Diesel and Bradley Cooper.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is in theaters May 5.
