Jamie Lee Curtis’ ‘Halloween Kills’ Wraps Filming

The upcoming horror sequel Halloween Kills starring Jamie Lee Curtis has officially wrapped production.

A behind-the-scenes photo from the set of Halloween Kills was posted to Twitter. Here, we take a look at actor Anthony Michael Hall as a grown up version of Tommy Doyle, one of the kids that Jamie Lee Curtis’ Laurie Strode babysat in John Carpenter’s original 1978 film.

Details on Halloween Kills and its sequel are sparse at the moment but we do know that a majority of the cast will be returning, including Jamie Lee Curtis, Judy Greer, and Andi Matichak. Director David Gordon Green will be returning behind the camera for both films, with Danny McBride returning alongside Green to pen both scripts.

Halloween Kills is the follow-up to last year’s hit filmwhich became a box office smash breaking numerous horror records and ended up grossing an impressive $255.5 million worldwide on a $10 million budget. Danny McBride co-wrote the script with David Gordon Green and Jeff Fradley.

The first sequel, Halloween Kills, is set to be released on October 16, 2020, while Halloween Ends will debut the following year on October 15, 2021. Details on the sequels are currently under wraps, but Jamie Lee Curtis will reprise her role alongside co-stars Judy Greer and Andi Matichak. David Gordon Green will return to direct both films and will co-write the scripts with Danny McBride.

Jamie Lee Curtis returns to her iconic role as Laurie Strode, who comes to her final confrontation with Michael Myers, the masked figure who has haunted her since she narrowly escaped his killing spree on Halloween night four decades ago

Directed by David Gordan Green from a script co-written by himself, Jeff Fradley and Danny McBride, Halloween (2018) stars Jamie Lee Curtis, Judy Greer, Andi Matichak, Will Patton, Virginia Gardner, and Nick Castle.

Halloween Kills is scheduled to be released in theaters on October 16, 2020.
