Two set videos from the untitled 'Han Solo' standalone film feature a Scout Trooper riding a vehicle for a scene in the upcoming 'Star Wars Story'.
Fans looking for some more hints in regards to some of the imagery of the film are in luck now, thanks to an Instagram user. Two videos from the set of the highly-anticipated film have been posted on this account, and it features a Scout Trooper riding a vehicle.
Scout Troopers are an imperial-variant of the Stormtroopers that serve as one of the most iconic images not just in the Star Wars franchise, but in popular culture as a whole. For decades, Stormtroopers were used as nothing more than cannon fodder for the Rebels to kill. Thus, audiences never got a chance to see these faceless soldiers as people.
That is until they were introduced to FN-2187 who would later be named Finn (John Boyega) in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Granted, this Scout Trooper from the set of the Han Solo film is representative of what is seen in the original trilogy where the lack of character exploration for these faceless imperial soldiers wasn’t further explored.
You can see the videos from the Han Solo set down below.
The untitled Han Solo Star Wars Story is directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller with a screenplay written by Lawrence Kasdan and Jon Kasdan. It will arrive in our galaxy on May 25, 2018.
