In 2016, Niantic developed the augmented reality game Pokemon Go, which turned into a worldwide phenomenon. Fans went crazy for the game, which scratched that childhood itch of always wanting to be a Pokemon trainer. Niantic’s next game will take fans from the nostalgia of catching Pokemon to the nostalgia of visiting the wizarding world of Harry Potter. Sure, you can visit the Harry Potter world at the Universal Studios theme park in Florida but next year, there will be a much more affordable way to experience the magic of the franchise in reality.
Harry Potter: Wizards Unite brings the fun of Pokemon Go to the iconic Warner Bros. franchise. As the wizarding world bleeds into the muggle world, players are called upon to help stop the problem.
