If asked, Hayden Christensen would return to the Star Wars franchise in a heartbeat. Christensen played Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader during the prequel trilogy.
During an interview with ETalk, a Canadian entertainment show, Christensen talked about his experience working within Star Wars and that if given the chance to return, he wouldn’t turn it down because this was such a large part of his life and career.
“Absolutely. In a heartbeat, for sure. Being a part of that world was a huge deal for me, and was a good four/five years of my life. I have fond memories and good friendships from that whole time. But if they ever gave me the call, I would sign up in a heartbeat.”

It is public knowledge that the prequel trilogy wasn’t a total hit with fans but Christensen was a major part of the franchise. His return could make sense with flashbacks or within prequel stories.
The Star Wars franchise has a lot going on, coming up next fans will be able to see Rogue One: A Star Wars Story which opens on December 16, 2016 and Star Wars: Episode VIII opens on December 15, 2017.
