Much is still unknown about HBO’s upcoming Watchmen series. When Damon Lindelof shared that he was working on the series, he made some comments about it being a “remix” of the original Alan More graphic novel. Now, Damon Lindeloff’s vision for the Watchmen series is starting to become more clear.
While Watchmen doesn’t have a panel at this year’s San Diego Comic Con, the new HBO series will still have a presence with a fan experience. HBO has also just released a brand new trailer for the highly-anticipated drama, which you can watch below:

Set in an alternate history where “superheroes” are treated as outlaws, WATCHMEN embraces the nostalgia of the original groundbreaking graphic novel while attempting to break new ground of its own.
Watchmen stars Regina King, Jeremy Irons, Don Johnson, Jean Smart, Tim Blake Nelson, Louis Gossett Jr., Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Hong Chau, Andrew Howard, Tom Mison, Frances Fisher, Jacob Ming-Trent, Sara Vickers, Dylan Schombing, and James Wolk. The series is produced for HBO by White Rabbit in association with Warner Bros. Television, based on Alan Moore’s graphic novel co-created and illustrated by Dave Gibbons and published by DC.
Damon Lindelof serves as an executive producer alongside Nicole Kassell, Tom Spezialy, Stephen Williams, and Joseph Iberti. Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross will compose the score for the show.
Watchmen debuts in fall 2019 on HBO.
